ECONOMIC IMPACT PAYMENTS

By now you should have received 3 Economic Impact Payments, or stimulus checks, issued by the US Treasury.

The first payment was issued starting April 11, 2020 as follows:
$1,200 per adult
$500 per dependent

The second payment was issued starting Dec 29, 2020 in the amount of $600 per person.

The third payment was issued starting Mar 12, 2021 in the amount of $1,400 per person.

Your eligibility for these payments was based on 2019 and 2020 tax filings, based on the payout date. If you didn’t receive the full amount you’re eligible for, you will be able to claim the eligible amount not issued on your 2020 and 2021 tax return filing via the “Recovery Rebate Credit”.
